Light A Candle
Some days are cloudy.
We have problems
that hides the sun from our view.
We feel the sun is never going to shine again.
We are never going to be happy again.
We are certain of it.
But our feelings don’t always tell the truth.
They are not always reality.
Often our feelings play tricks on us,
so we shouldn't believe everything they tell us.
Nor should we make decisions basely entirely upon them.
Most often life ignores feelings,
and is what it was meant to be.
The sun was made to shine.
We are to be happy.
Cloudy days are not meant to last long,
but to be a bed
for the sun to rest in occasionally.
Things will be fine again
when it’s time for them to be.
Play in the sunshine when it is shining.
On cloudy days
light a candle
and wait in peace
for life’s infallible promise.
The sun will shine again.
You will be happy again.
All light lightens the soul……
