You Were Born To Shine

You were born to shine.
Yes You!
You are just as special as anyone else.
Just as talented.
Just as gifted.
So don't hide your light.
LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE.
Don't hide your heart.
LET YOUR HEART SHINE.
Don't hide your gift.
LET YOUR GIFT SHINE.
Don't worry.
You can't fail at what you were born to do or be.
You were born to shine in all your glory
so don't hold back.
Allow yourself to shine.

A singer cannot not sing
anymore than a songbird can refuse to sing.
An artist cannot fail to paint or create
anymore than the sun can keep from shinning.
A writer cannot avoid writing
anymore than snow burdened clouds
can keep snow from falling through the cracks.
So don't worry timid star
about not having what it takes.
YOU HAVE ALL IT TAKES.
Take your passion,
polish it daily,
go bold,
and make your dreams come true.
(You can do it!)

You may not see yourself as a star.
You may not feel like one.
The idea may appear ridiculous to you.
But the truth is
our feelings have a bad habit of misleading us.
They often blind us
from seeing ourselves in our true light.
We are much better than our clouded vision suggests.
Possess more star qualities than imaginable.
Capable of achieving much more than we think.
So don't pay too much attention to feelings,
or to your doubts and fears.
Don't let them control you.
Ignore them and they will get out of your way.

Instead ...
FOCUS ON YOUR DREAM.
FOCUS ON YOUR GIFT.
FOCUS ON WHAT YOU WANT TO ACCOMPLISH
with your whole heart and soul.
Lay it all on the line.
Hold nothing back.
 Good things will happen.
Doors will open.
You can count on it!

In the heavens there are billions of stars.
Some greater than others.
Pasted with star glue onto black velvet sky,
some sparkle like diamonds,
others gleam like pearls.
Some seem to dance,
others to tell a story,
some seem to shyly smile,
while others boldly alugh out loud.
Each has its own unique beauty,
light and purpose,
SO DO YOU!
Alone each star is beautiful,
but together they are breathtaking!
Instead of outshining one another
they compliment and increase each others beauty.
In heaven's beauty contest
they are all winners!

On the stage of life
(as in the heaven's)
everyone who lets their light shine,
no matter how small or large,
dim or bright, 
IS A STAR.
And a winner too!
There are no losers,
so don't diminish your starlight
by comparing it to others.
Remember other stars only help us to shine more,
and to be more beautiful.
As it is impossible to count the stars,
so too is it impossible for you to know
the depth of wonderful things
that could happen,
if you will step out in faith,
and dare to let your light shine.

Step out!
Take that chance!
SHINE STAR SHINE!
Someone out there is going to see your light.
Someone is going to be blessed
(including you)
and that Dear Star
(more than awards, honors, wealth, or fame)
IS WHAT YOU WERE BORN FOR.
But there are no laws
that forbid 
you to enjoy other blessings should they come your way.
SHINE!
and blessings will come,
Sure as shooting stars....
